Jen “Odd” Glantz here! I thought of this week’s topic by accident.
I was wondering if any jobs out there simply pay you to apply.
I could not find any - but wow, what a cool way to get badass people to apply to a job. PAY THEM FOR THEIR TIME FILLING OUT THE FREAKING APP!
Seriously, I’d apply for a job if there was $100 waiting for me when I pressed submit - or a $5 coffee card…I’m easily pleased!
Brilliant marketing plan.
But since that’s not a thing, I started eyeballing people and companies you can pay to apply for jobs for you.
What did I find?
A MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU!

Can I Pay You $2,500 to Find Me a Job?
Applying for jobs can feel like your full-time job.
Editing your resume and cover letter, finding gigs that you’re interested in, researching the job, and making sure your materials are eye-catching when you apply, can be a process that feels never-ending and super exhausting.
I know the process well.
I’ve applied for 1,000’s of jobs in my lifee.
I only got hired by 4 companies.
Then I got laid-off and became a solopreneur.
But I think about this alll the time. If I re-entered the job market, I’d be too lazy to apply.
SO here’s who you can hire to do it for you.
& PS. if you love applying for jobs or doing career coaching, this is the odd gig for you.
Send your resume to 1,000 companies
For $300, this company sends your resume out to 1,000 companies. If you get hired by any of the companies, you pay an extra $900. They probably use automation to make this process simple on their end so they can pocket profit.
*DO THIS YOURSELF: If you can figure out how to automate this process, you can make the bizz even better. Charge a flat fee of $500 and include a career coaching course and upsell 1:1 coaching calls.
Send your resume to companies that pay $100,000+
Another type of approach is this company that helps you find 6-figure jobs only. You can apply to 10 of their curated jobs for you, for free. Or pay between $159-$400 for additional access. They claim there’s more “human”-ness to their application process so this could be a good investment if you want to find a high-paying gig and not have your resume reach a bunch of random companies.
*DO THIS YOURSELF: Call yourself the million dollar job where you source gigs that can pay a half mill to one million in 5 years. Then do something similar!
Work with a reverse recruiter
If you don’t want your resume to end up going out to tons of random jobs, work with someone who can give you a more personal approach - a reverse recruiter. For around $2,500 this person will do alll the job dirty work for you (resume re-writing, cover letter writing, applying, follow-ups, etc.).
*DO THIS YOURSELF: Become a reverse recruiter for an industry you know and love. Put together packages and a website. You could easily make 6-figures a year with this gig because people will pay for this service if you can really get them decent interviews!
