Become a Secret Agent
During the holiday time, a lot of stores will hire undercover security to walk around and make sure nobody is shoplifting. Here’s how you can take on this role and here are some open jobs out there right now.
Do Secret Shopping
Spending the weekend shopping at stores already? Get paid to do that as a mystery shopper. You can get paid to shop and give feedback after you’re done. Typically, you’ll be asked to make a purchase, and then you’ll be reimbursed. Market Force and IntelliShop are two free platforms you can use to get started.
Give In-Store Demos
During the holiday season, a lot of stores are doing demos of products. This is a job that anyone can do - especially if you’re someone who really likes working with people and showing how something works. Here’s where you can find some of those jobs
Do Gift Wrapping
Some people are so good at this and if that’s you, you can pick up some extra gigs as an in-store gift wrapper. Here’s where you can search for these jobs.
Holiday Babysitting Remote
Home Sitting
I always thought the concept of paying someone to watch your house when you go away was a bit odd. BUT it’s a well-paying gig (around $37/day) and requires you to watch over a person’s house, water some plants, and make sure there aren’t any robberies.
Want to give this a try? You can find jobs right here.
Pet Sitting
This isn’t so odd but it’s a needed job and perfect for a person who wants to make cash while watching an animal. Sure, watching a cat or dog can feel like hard work but what about watching someone’s pet spider? There are all different types of pets out there and people will pay you $2,000 a month.
Find pet sitting gigs here.
Farm Sitting
Recently, so many people have started small backyard flocks of chickens to larger farms but what do these people do when they need a break and want to get away?
If you like the idea of watching a property AND animals, post your info. here to be considered as a farm sitter.
